I had been eyeing the Little Island dessert range ($8.99 for 475ml tub) in the supermarket for a while and finally decided to grab the mango one and give it a try. Could not have made a better choice! These ice creams are all dairy free, using coconut cream instead of milk. Little Island was started by two friends in 2010,  Tommy & James. As well as being dairy free, their range is also free from gluten, nuts & soy. The ingredients that go into these delicious ice creams are sourced from organic, ethical and fair-trade suppliers. The first thing I noticed when I opened the tub is the colour: it's not the bright orange mango you see in the scoop shops (which most likely have colour added). The taste is so creamy and refreshing.  You definitely notice the coconut flavour, which goes so well with the mango. It was hard to not eat the whole tub! I'll definitely be trying the other flavours in the range: vanilla bean, chocolate, banana bean and toasted coconut caramel. Available at supermarkets and specialty stores nationwide.
